W nocy z 28 na 29 sierpnia 2011 roku odbędzie się 28. gala wręczenia MTV Video Music Awards. Czyje klipy powalczą o miano tych najlepszych?
W tym roku faworytką gali wydaje się być Katy Perry, którą nominowano aż w dziewięciu kategoriach (i to tych najważniejszych!) za klipy do singli "Teenage Dream", "Firework", "E.T." oraz "Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F.)". Tuż za nią plasują się Adele z "Rolling in the Deep" (siedem nominacji) oraz Kanye West (sześć nominacji), którego doceniono za nagrany wspólnie z Katy Perry klip do "E.T.", jak również za "All of the Lights" i "Power".

Wielka triumfatorka zeszłorocznego rozdania nagród MTV VMA tym razem otrzymała jedynie trzy nominacje - jedną za "Born This Way" oraz dwie za najdroższy klip w historii muzyki "Judas". Tak znikoma liczba nominacji jest wielkim ciosem zarówno dla Gagi jak i jej małych potworków, które wyraziły swoje niepocieszenie atakując złośliwymi komentarzami Bogu ducha winną Adele.
